TEXT

1-7 Station Road is a three-story mid-terrace situated in the heart of the commercial core of the South Norwood Conservation Area.

Our client required the change of use of this vacant retail unit to a restaurant to be the home of yet another Mamma Dough in South East London.

To enable them to put their signature stamp on the fit-out and design of the space to make it unique to their style.

The retail unit previously housed 'The Ironmongery' which grew to be a familiar sight in South Norwood, and was a hardware store that supplied tools and materials for the community for over 100 years.

The store is considered one of the oldest shops in the area, first opening in the early 1900s and has retained the overall appearance of its shopfront throughout.

The new shopfront has retained some of the features and the local distinctiveness of the area drawing you into the main entrance of the restaurant. Where you will find some of the original shopfront and exposed industrial features.

Be sure to check out some of the other South East London Mamma Dough Restaurants that we have also had the pleasure of assisting with obtaining planning consents for such Ladywell, Sydenham, Tooting Bec and also try their awesome Sourdough pizza.
