TEXT

Refurbishment of an Edwardian double house in a conservation area. The work carried out to the external envelope of the building had to e dealt with sensitivity to preserve and reinstate the history of the conservation area.

We worked with the client from the initial concept to completion on-site. Delivering the project on time for the client to host their daughter's wedding in the newly renovated house.

The works were to upgrade the existing services to the property and modernise a number of areas within this semi-detached house to create a better flow and use of spaces.

At the ground floor level, the living room and kitchen space were opened up to each other creating an enlarged and well defined multifunctional space. With the addition of ground floor WC and replacement of the bespoke timber windows and doors through the property. Withing the loft space a new ensuite was constructed under the eaves. With the clients beautiful garden, the existing outbuildings that previously housed an external WC and storage space is now a warm and dray spacious utility room.
