School refurbishment

st. william of york

new entrance

(FOREST HILL - LONDON)

TEXT

GTA was commissioned by the Headteacher at SWOY in Forest Hill to make the entrance into the school more visible and accessible especially in peak times with vast numbers of parent and children at the beginning and the end of school.

The brief was realised by creating an overhanging roof that not only provides shelter for those waiting to enter the school but visually catches your eye. The entrance also double sliding doors with the school’s logo etched on the glass to provide ease of access. Signage and lighting were also part of the scheme to make the entrance a visible as possible.
